The conference of Polish-Japanese Days was initiated by Professor Marek Niezgódka, PhD, DSc, Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (ICM), University of Warsaw, and the first one was held in Warsaw, Poland 1994. The purpose of this series of conferences is to bring together researchers in Poland and Japan in order to discuss new developments of mathematical analysis, modellings and numerical simulations for nonlinear phenomena in the real world.
